At one time or another we’ve all had the desire to take something that wasn’t ours. But those who suffer from the impulse control disorder known as kleptomania find it impossible to resist the urge to steal. And it’s not about the money. Kleptomaniacs constantly feel compelled to steal for no apparent reason. Often they don’t even want the object they take and sometimes even pocket things without realizing it.
Do you constantly take objects with little or no monetary value? Do you steal things without premeditation? Have you actually been diagnosed with kleptomania? Are you trying to control your impulses with therapy or other methods?
If you appear between the ages of 16 and 28 and kleptomania is a part of your life we would like to hear your story. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, location, age, phone number and a picture.
